Sterling Shelving
Style
Clean, simple, and modern—this shelving system brings a fresh, streamlined look to any space. The open design and straight lines keep things feeling light and airy, whether you're styling a kitchen, wet bar, or workspace. It’s a great fit for modern or transitional homes, adding just the right amount of edge without overpowering your decor.
Construction
Built from sturdy 1" x 1" steel tubing, this frame fully welded and made to last. The slim, minimal profile works well with all kinds of shelf materials—whether you're planning to use warm wood, sleek glass, or solid stone. It's strong, simple, and ready for your personal touch.
Keep in Mind
Here are a few helpful things to know as you plan your shelving setup:
- Want your shelves to stick out a bit? Go for it! Overhangs are totally fine and can create a great custom look.
- If you’re using wood shelves, just let us know in the checkout notes—we’ll drill the mounting holes for you.
- Glass and stone shelves don’t need to be attached—they’ll sit right on the support bars securely.
- If you have the opportunity to add proper backing/blocking support in the wall, its recommended for an easier install. If you don't have the ability to do so, wall shelving can still be installed successfully with the proper anchors. For "ceiling only" mounted shelving, blocking is a must.
- Think about what you’ll be storing or displaying, especially if you're planning for bottles, jars, or stacked items. Take a moment to measure their height so you can decide how much space you’ll want between each shelf—it’s a small step that makes a big difference.
Installation
Installing ceiling or wall-mounted shelving can vary depending on your space, so we recommend checking your surface type (drywall, wood, brick, etc.) before you begin. Since the best fasteners depend on the specifics of where you're installing and your individual needs, mounting hardware isn’t included. If you're unsure, a quick consult with us or a handyman or contractor can go a long way!
Shipping Information
This shelving unit ships via standard curbside freight delivery. That means it’ll arrive on a truck and be dropped off outside your home or business—so it’s a good idea to have someone on hand to help bring it inside.
