Mastering Metal and Who We Are

Brief Background Highlight
For most of the world, it takes a long time to build a dream and even longer to do it really well - and for us it’s the same story. From building corbels and metal furniture on side jobs in college, to owning and running a successful business that works on everything from custom residential to large commercial jobs across the US - it’s been quite the journey for owner/lead designer Justin Hodges. For a more detailed read on that path - definitely check out the write up on Justin in Luxiere.
25+ years of passion and hard work has put Justin in the position of truly understanding the ins and outs of metal manufacturing. Lots of practice and dedication to making the best custom metal pieces on the market along with hiring the best talent to do so, has gotten Urban Ironcraft and Legion Metals to where they are today.
How Can You Be Sure We Know What We Say We Do?
Like everything, it’s a matter of trust right? We will say that when you work in the custom furniture industry (like we do) - you get very adept at understanding your customers and their needs - if you didn’t - you would be out of work pretty quick. Add to that working with GCs, Architects, Designers, Project Managers etc. on the larger projects and well - you really better know your stuff or they will see through you pretty quick.
If you’d like to read a bit more about who we are and our passion, along with a message from Justin - check out our About Us page.
Now What?
More and more we are finding that, due to our unique market niche, that there are a lot of questions out there about what we do and how we do it. Not only that, there are many things that people wished they knew BEFORE they bought custom or decided on custom work and we hope that we can shed some light on those topics. It can be an intimidating route to go for some. Hopefully, armed with a little extra knowledge - we can help people confidently select pieces perfectly tailored to their needs without a lot of extra headache.
After all, we’ve kind of got it mastered ;-)
(or if we don’t get it right the first time - we’ll try, try again - that’s what counts right?)
